Robin Orchard, RN, CCM
President/Owner
After a 15 year clinical background in Intensive Care Nursing, Ms.Orchard ventured into the Workers' Compensation Case Management arena, as Case Manager and Account Manager for a national managed care company. In February of 2001, she started Orchard Medical Consulting with the goal of ensuring safe return to work for injured employees, whilefocusing on the employers' bottom line. With her emphasis on customer service, successful outcomes abound. With Ms. Orchard's leadership, the company has expanded into 5 additional metropolitan areas, in 3 western states. Erin Finn, BSW
Director of Marketing
Erin has been in the field of rehabilitation for over ten years. Her background includes office management and hospital liaison services for a major home health hospice agency and office management for a large physical therapy company. She has been working in the field of workers' compensation account management for seven years and joined Orchard Medical Consulting in 2004. She graduated with honors from Arizona State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and obtained her Masters in Business Administration in 2008. Erin also has an extensive background in crisis management.
Julie Palko, RN, CCM Director of Case Management Services
Julie has over fifteen years of clinical background in orthopedic and trauma nursing and eight years of experience as a Case Manager in home health. She entered the workers' compensation arena as a Case Manager for a national Case Management company in 1998. She achieved her CCM certification in 1999. Julie joined Orchard Medical Consulting in 2002 and is committed to directing the Case Management services in a way to achieve successful outcomes for both injured workers and their employers.
Jan Hazelton, RN, CCM
Arizona Division Director
Jan has been an RN for 20 years. Her career has been diverse with areas of expertise to include extensive trauma with multi-system injuries. She has worked in Telemetry, ICU, Trauma, and has achieved certification as a Wound Care Specialist and as an Ostomy Therapist. Her background includes years of Case Management of complex wounds and Home Health.
She was sucessful at developing a Wound Care Program for the John C. Lincoln network at three different campuses and provided system-wide education to all staff members involved in patient care. Jan has now been with Orchard Medical Consulting for 5 years spending 3 years as a Nurse Case Manager in the field, and the last 2 years as the Division Director for Arizona. She is dedicated to providing excellent customer service with excellent outcomes for clients and ensuring staff retention.

Gerri Hether, RN, COHN-S, CCM
Case Manager
Gerri is an RN with over 25 years experience in occupational health and safety and Workers' Compensation with 14 years spent in the construction industry. Gerri's Case Management experience includes catastrophic case management of traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and burns. Gerri has an additional degree in paralegal studies with an emphasis on Workers' Compensation. Gerri is Orchard Medical's mentor/advisor and has been with the company for 4 years.
Norm Rogers, RN, CCM
Case Manager
Norm has brought his extensive critical care and trauma expertise to Orchard Medical Consulting. His vocational background is varied. In addition to being an RN, Norm has been a pilot, manager of an insurance company, owned his own trucking company, and performed services as a logger. In 2004 Norm joined Orchard Medical and in 2006 he obtained his CCM.
Carol Orazi, BS, RN, CCM, MSCC
Medicare Set-Aside Specialist & Case Manager
Carol possesess certification in Case Management, life-care planning, and legal-nurse consulting. She has experience with Workers' Compensation as well as group health insurance. Carol's clinical experience includes orthopedics and trauma, as well as transition of care in the group health arena. She joined Orchard Medical in 2005.
Susan Auditore, RN, BSN, CCM
Case Manager
Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marquette University in 1987. She has nine years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Case Manager and has been with Orchard Medical for two years. Susan received her CCM certification in 2000. She has extensive experience with catastrophic, orthopedic, and neurological injuries. Along with performing telephonic and field Case Management, she has experience with liability review, long-term disability, return to work coordination, as well as Crisis Intervention. She also has prior experience working for a national PPO as a Case Manager in the areas of catastrophic illness, high-risk obstetrics, neonatology, and quality management.
Robin Strick, RN, CCM
Case Manager
Robin combines over 25 years of healthcare experience in the following areas: operating room, occupational health, Case Management, and utilization management. Her Case Management experience includes both Workers' Compensation and Group Health Insurance. Robin received her CCM certification in 1997 and joined Orchard Medical in 2005. She received her Nursing Degree from Queensborough Community College, and her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Jan Taglia, RN, BSN, CCM
Case Manager
Jan joined the Orchard team in 2005 bringing with her over 30 years of nursing experience. She began specializing in Case Management in 1990. Previously, she had gained broad medical expertise in a number of areas, including Critical Care, Home Health, Workers' Compensation, and Occupational Health. Jan has a diverse professional and educational background. Jan's most recent experience includes case management of people with brain injuries. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University and is a Certified Case Manager.
Mary Bradley, RN, CCM
Case Manager
Mary has been a RN for 16 years. Her clinical background includes medical and surgical nursing, home health, and rehabilitation. Mary has six years experience in the rehabilitation field for acute and post acute neurological rehabilitation. She provided Case Management services to those with orthopedic, spinal cord, and brain injuries. She also has more than a year's experience with Workers' Compensation Case Management with Orchard Medical. Mary received her nursing degree from Piedmont Virginia Community College. She is currently the President of the Brain Injury Association of AZ and is an active member of the Phoenix chapter of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA).
Natalie Sullivan, RN

Natalie has been an RN since 1986. Her background includes medical surgical nursing, hospital Case Management, utilization management, insurance review, and home health Case Management. She is committed to providing excellent customer service and obtaining the best possible outcomes for our clients. Natalie has been with Orchard Medical Consulting for one year as of December 2007.
Jeanne Rawlins, RN, CCM
Case Manager
Jeanne has been an RN for over 30 years. Her clinical experience includes general medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery. She has over 5 years experience in occupational health and safety, pre-employment screening and audiometric testing in the automotive and heavy logging equipment industry. She also has over 10 years of workers' compensation experience in both telephonic and field case management. Jeanne joined the Orchard team in 2004.
Amy Beth Baron, RN
Case Manager
Amy Baron has been in the healthcare field for 16 years in a variety of positions and roles. Her extensive experience in large Boston hospital settings, Worker's Compensation case management, home care and a state agency Medicaid fraud setting afford her the excellent knowledge base she brings to Orchard Medical Consulting.
Amy has received her Bachelor of Science in nursing, and her Juris Doctorate degree leading to entrance into the Massachusetts Bar. Amy holds certifications in both Case Management and Nurse Life Care Planning. Amy's significant experience in legal nurse review and testimony provide her the ability to assist with multiple needs within the worker's compensation arena.
Virginia (Ginger) Dunn, RN, CCM
Telephonic Case Manager
Ginger brings over 25 years of nursing experience to Orchard Medical Consulting including many years in telephonic case management and worker's compensation. Ginger's vast clinical experience in ICU, onsite occupational health, as a school nurse, and in home health and disease management enhances her ability to provide exceptional outcomes for our injured workers. Currently she is working to complete her BSN.
Amelia Lohr, MSW
Social Worker
Amelia is an advanced generalist social worker (master's level) with over seven years of extensive experience in crisis intervention, client advocacy, intesive case management, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and individual and group therapy. She has worked in a variety of social work arenas including the public child welfare system, domestic violence advocacy, school social work, and has held administrative roles in the home health and hospice fields. Amelia has had prior work experience pertaining to community resource and referral, substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health. She also has a degree in Administration of Criminal Justice with an emphasis in pre-law.

Kathy has been in the field of Workers' Compensation for the past 16 years spending four of those with Orchard. Her experience has been in occupational health and medical Case Management. Her experience has allowed her to understand the work environment and the importance of partnerships with employers and insurance carriers, in order to effectively case manage Workers' Compensation claims.

Joan has performed direct Case Management services to individuals injured in job-related accidents and motor vehicle accidents since 1988. She has also been branch manager of a national health care company. She possesses extensive orthopedic and brain injury experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University Of Phoenix in Tucson, Arizona.
Lou Rice, RN
Case Manager
Lou has a long and varied career in nursing. After graduating and receiving her RN, she entered the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant, working with heart patients, kidney dialysis, and in Post Anesthesia Recovery/ICU. Over the years she has worked with the American Red Cross in tissue procurement and has been supervisor and manager in aphaeresis with responsibilities including platelet donations, plasma exchange, and operating and training RNs and anesthesiologists in the operation of the Cell Saver in the operating rooms in all Tucson Hospitals. Because of her varied experiences, the Workers' Compensation arena has been a perfect fit for Lou for the past two years.
Deedra Bock, RN

Deedra Bock compliments our Tucson team with 17 years of nursing experience. She has an extensive background in intensive care, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and home health. Deedra has many years of Case Management experience with 4 years in Workers' Compensation. Deedra possesses excellent documentation skills. Her background in utilization review and quality management enhances her ability to analyze medical records to facilitate optimal care for the injured worker. Deedra was born and raised in Tucson, and knows the community and its medical providers well. She possesses the aggressive skills to provide Case Management services to achieve excellent outcomes for the injured worker, employer, and adjuster. Deedra has been a valued part of the Orchard Case Management team for the past year.

Linda brings over 30 years of nursing experience to Orchard Medical. Her clinical bacground includes medical/surgical nursing and extensive experience in rehabilitation. Linda has vast case management experience including the specialty of prior authorization. Nevada Supervisor
Karen joins our team bringing with her over 23 years of nursing experience. She began specializing in Case Management in 2002. Previously, she had gained broad medical experience in a number of areas including critical care, surgery, outpatient/day surgery, surgical center administration, and Workers' Compensation and occupational health. Karen received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware and her Associates degree of Science in Nursing, Phi Theta Kappa, from Nassau Community College in New York. Karen is a CCM and has been a member of the Las Vegas medical community for over 20 years.
Gail Troche, RN
Bilingual Case Manager
Gail is a bilingual, Spanish speaking RN with over 30 years of experience. She has spent the majority of her career in the fields of occupational health, infection control, and OB/GYN. During the last 5 years of her career she has worked as a Field Case Manager in the Workers' Compensation arena. Gail's Case Management experience includes catastrophic cases, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries, in addition to orthopedic and neurological injuries, long-term disability, return work coordination, and Crisis Response intervention.
Dorinda Gresen, RN, RDCS, RVT

Dorinda is a very experienced Case Manager, who has 29 years of nursing experience. She has an extensive background in Workers' Compensation, home health, and a varied background in surgery, including neurosurgery, general, plastic, cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, and ENT. Dorinda holds an exceptional working knowledge of the internal surgical situations, and specializes in the catastrophically injured worker. She has held multiple supervisory positions which afford her exceptional communication and problem solving skills. Dorinda's ability to "think outside the box" proves to be invaluable in achieving positive outcomes for injured workers, employers, and clients.
Mary Anne Malilay, RN, BSN
Case Manager
Mary Anne has seven years of Case Management experience, and has previously worked with a large insurance company focusing on Workers' Compensation and serving as a liaison between clients, medical professionals, and claim adjusters, as well as promoting early return to work thus reducing lost time expenses. She has two years experience with catastrophic cases with extensive background and experience in working with spinal cord injuries, traumatic head injuries, and multi-trauma cases. Mary Anne also has several years of experience with utilization review handling pre-certification and being responsible for hospital inpatient reviews of retrospective and concurrent admissions and hospitalizations. She is well versed in the Las Vegas medical community and has excellent working relationships with TPAs, physicians, and other health care providers in the area, enabling her to achieve and exceed common goals.

Utah Supervisor
Suzie Behm joins our team with 28 years of nursing experience. She has a wide variety of nursing experience including occupational health and emergency care at a national nuclear reactor site, surgery admitting, medical surgical care, pediatric, home health, and home infusion. She created and implemented the first clinical ladder for her department and served as an instructor as well as an assistant manager of her pediatric department. She co-created a disaster drill at the Argonne National Laboratories in Idaho, which was attended by multiple international dignitaries. She has served on various committees, planning and implementing multi-state seminars. She entered the Workers' Compensation arena in 2000. She achieved her CCM in 2004. She is a catastrophic, ergonomic, and crisis response specialist. She is an aggressive Case Manager that has been able to successfully balance the delicate relationship between the injured worker, adjuster, and physician to obtain optimal outcomes.
Spencer French, RN, MSN

Spencer comes to us from Rexburg, Idaho where he attended BYU-Idaho and graduated first with his ASN, later continuing on to recieve his BSN degree. Spencer's nursing experience are in the areas of Med/Surg floor, ER, ICU as well as home health. He then went on to be a nursing instructor/administrator for BYU-Idaho. Spencer's ability to organize and coordinate a multitude of arenas provide him a solid grasp in providing services to our clients to promote the best possible outcome.
JD Burgon, RN
Bilingual Case Manager
JD received his nursing degree from Utah Valley University and has experience in Medical and Surgical areas. He brings exceptional communication, delegation and management skills which afford excellent outcomes for our clients. JD is fluent in Spanish, and his understanding of the culture is of great value to the Spanish speaking injured workers in the Utah area. JD continues to expand his knowledge and experience by pursuing additional degrees in nursing.

Darius is an RN, BSN with 17 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greely, CO. She has worked in ICU, CCU, ER, and Hospital Case Management for 13 years. Darius spent two years working with worker's compensation and Diabetic Education and prevention, and another two and a half years doing worker's compensation field case management, telephonic case management, long term disability cases, and chart review. |
